Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nehayan Foundation implements many projects outside the state in order to develop the societies in sister and friend countries and to create production atmosphere which contributes to minimize unemployment rate and helps people to be productive and capable to contribute in the prosperity and development of their societies.The engineering department at the Foundation supervise many projects in many countries; such as Al-Quds Holy Mosque project, build housing project in Beit Hanina in cooperation with the UNDP in Palestine, Housing City in Egypt and hospital project in Syria and Morocco. Hospital project (obstetrics and pediatrics), a mosque accommodates five thousand prayers and a school for all stages in Kazakhstan.In Turkmenistan, mosque project for 1500 prayers and build orphans house. In Pakistan, there are many different projects which reached 253 projects; such as build mosques, hospitals, schools and dig water wells…etc.The Foundation shall, in cooperation with many international organizations, establish developmental projects in Afghanistan, in education and health fields. The Foundation shall, in Thailand, implement kindergarten project. Finally, after presenting the most important achievements of the Foundation in 2008, it would stress again that it will continue its charity and humanitarian initiatives on local and international levels to realize its vision for which it was established; "Pioneering Initiatives in the Service of Humanity".
