In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to provide relief to the victims of floods in the United Republic of Comoros, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works began to provide urgent relief assistance to those affected by this disaster, which was caused by heavy rains.The emergency relief project of the Khalifa bin Plus Al Nahyan Foundation was considered one of the largest relief aid provided to the Comoros to face the flood disaster, as the direct purchase of emergency relief materials and supplies necessary to speed the delivery of aid to those affected was made directly from the local market.The aid included distributing six items of food to needy families affected by the floods disaster and delivering them to their homes in the far reaches of the three islands that make up the Federal Republic of Comoros.The Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works covered the regions of Anjouan Island and the rest of the other islands that make up the United Republic of the Comoros, which had a great impact in alleviating the impact of the flood disaster on the affected people.
