The Foundation organized the seventh group wedding in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, which included a thousand young men and women.The ceremony - which was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain - was attended by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Charitable Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charitable Foundation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country's ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Mohammed Haji Al Khoury, Director General of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work, His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General of the Royal Charitable Foundation, and a number of senior officials, guests and grooms.It is worth noting that the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation has so far sponsored the marriage of 3646 brides and grooms during six group marriage parties in Bahrain, the first in December 2011, the number of grooms was 220, and the second in 2012 and included 224, the third in 2013, comprising 222 grooms and brides, and the fourth in 2014. A total of 222 bridesmaids, and the fifth in 2016 included 870 brides and weddings, and in 2017 the group wedding included 888 brides and grooms, and in our current year 2018, the group wedding included 1000 brides and grooms.
