The health issue is at the top of the priorities of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work, as it believes in the right of everyone to obtain medical care according to the highest international standards adopted.In this regard, the Foundation initiated the issuance of health insurance cards since 2013 for needy cases, and the number of beneficiaries during the past four years reached 18,959 beneficiaries, as the necessary treatment is provided in governmental and private hospitals throughout the country.The Foundation also provided medical devices to several hospitals in the country with the aim of providing treatment services to patients, and the number of beneficiaries of the curative services provided since 2008 until the end of 2017 reached about 2,812 beneficiaries, of which 1,558 beneficiaries from dispensing medicines, 328 beneficiaries from the dispensing of prosthetic devices, 328 beneficiaries from treatment, and 926 beneficiaries. The necessary moral support was provided, and the Foundation undertook to pay tuition fees for students and those who were financially insolvent in some private centers distributed nationwide.
