The Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works launched the "Dates Distribution Project" on brotherly and friendly countries before the holy month of Ramadan ... by shipping 311 tons of dates by sea and air to about 21 countries around the world.The distribution of these seasonal shipments of dates comes as an affirmation of the Foundation’s keenness to support groups that suffer from difficult living conditions and provide some of their needs to be distributed to the beneficiaries during the blessed month of Ramadan in cooperation with the country's embassies in those countries through civil society institutions, mosques, schools, institutes, Islamic centers and homes for the elderly. And Arab and Muslim communities in countries of expatriation.The shipments of dates included 15 tons to Egypt, 20 tons to the Kingdom of Bahrain, 15 tons to the Kingdom of Morocco, 15 tons to the Lebanese Republic, Pakistan 20 tons, India 15 tons, Bangladesh 20 tons, Malaysia 20 tons, Tanzania 15 tons, Uzbekistan 10 tons, Japan 15 tons, Turkmenistan 20 tons, and Kazakhstan 40 Tons, Belarus 10 tons, Serbia 10 tons, Ireland one tons, Spain 3.6 tons, Portugal 3.6 tons, the Swiss Confederation 13 tons, Germany 15 tons, Belgium 15 tons.The Khalifa Foundation is keen to support groups that suffer from difficult economic conditions in many countries around the world .. as it is customary every year for the Foundation to allocate large quantities of dates to brotherly and friendly peoples in addition to the two fasting breakfast projects and food parcels to enhance the aspects of Goodness and generosity in this blessed month, and an assurance from the Foundation to fulfill its humanitarian mission to the fullest.
