In August of last year, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works provided urgent relief assistance to the displaced to Iraqi Kurdistan, in coordination with the State's General Consulate in Erbil. The aid includes food, medicine and baby milk. The campaign was carried out until it reached 500,000 displaced and needy people and 100,000 children and women, as a team from the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work undertook the distribution operations under the supervision of the UAE Consulate General in the region.
