In 2013, the Khalifa Foundation took care of the expenses of deporting 428 prisoners of various nationalities to their countries after they served their sentences in penal and correctional institutions, and a judicial decision was issued against them to deport them outside the country and were unable to secure travel tickets to return to their countries.This permanent humanitarian project throughout the year represents a commitment from the Foundation to help this category of people in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior through penal and correctional institutions in the country.All prisoners, without exception, benefit from this humanitarian initiative, regardless of race, color or religion.
