Iftar fasting project in 50 countries in 2012
In the last blessed month of Ramadan, the Foundation implemented a "fasting breakfast project" in 50 countries around the world in cooperation with the country's embassies in those countries ... and within the framework of the seasonal humanitarian project during the blessed month of Ramadan to extend a helping hand to the poor and needy in Arab and Islamic countries and Muslim communities throughout the world.The project includes 12 Arab countries, 14 Asian countries, 13 African countries and nine European countries, in addition to Australia and Argentina.Through its humanitarian deployment in 50 countries around the world, the Foundation has been keen to implement the project according to the needs of those communities. The project is implemented in the form of two models, the first “hot ready meals” and the second model “distribution of ration food parcels,” while about half a million people around the world benefit from the project.The Arab countries covered by the project are .. Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, Algeria and Tunisia, in addition to Sudan, Mauritania, Somalia and Comoros.The project also covers 27 countries in the continents of Asia and Africa, namely Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, in addition to the Maldives, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, China, Indonesia, Eritrea, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea and the Republic of Cape Verde in addition to the Gambia, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Seychelles and Ethiopia.In Europe, nine countries are: Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Sweden, Spain, Greece, Albania, Switzerland and Portugal, in addition to Argentina and Australia.
