The Ministry of Social Affairs, in cooperation with the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, began implementing an intensive training program within the centers for the disabled in Fujairah and the Eastern Region to train female teachers and other groups of treatment service owners in preparation for their use in the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Center for Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of the Disabled.The center is now conducting specialized training courses for the benefit of teachers and medical professionals at the center, and in contact with the Children's Hospital in Washington, which will be an active and supportive element of the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Center for Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped in Fujairah.It is noteworthy that this ambitious program benefits about 63 disabled people in Fujairah Center, in addition to the disabled from other centers in Khor Fakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Fujairah.The center provides high-level services for people with disabilities, as it will specialize in early intervention, functional rehabilitation, and rehabilitation of people with auditory and visual intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, developmental delays and paralysis cases.
