In June 2015, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, inaugurated the Mosque of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in the Al Zaab area in Abu Dhabi, which has a capacity of 3,000.The mosque, whose construction cost amounted to 60 million dirhams, was supervised by the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation, the largest center for memorizing the Qur’an in the world, with a capacity for 600 students, in addition to a Fatwa Center under the supervision of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
