Khalifa Foundation announced the provision of medical devices that help treat cancer to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Aligarh Islamic University in India, with a value of two million dollars. The Foundation stated that this donation comes through cooperation with the India Healthcare Company in the country, noting that this step is an example of the increasing partnership between the public and private sectors in the field of providing humanitarian initiatives, especially by Indian companies operating in the country and the UAE government.Dr. Zamiruddin Shah, President of Aligarh Islamic University, expressed his gratitude to the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works and the India Healthcare Company for this noble gesture, noting that Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College played a major role in fighting polio and sending relief teams to Uttarakhan and Jammu.
