In cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and management of the Punitive and Correctional Corporation in Sharjah, through a joint humanitarian cooperation, the Foundation undertook to pay the debts of 17 prisoners from Abu Dhabi (9 inmates) and Sharjah (8 inmates), and to pay their debts in cooperation with the penal and correctional institutions in the country .. where the assistance of detainees / inmates is considered. They have financial issues and contribute to alleviating their suffering by paying off their debts, a strong signal from the Foundation to join the community and contribute to rebuilding the homes of those who were released.In August 2019, on the occasion of the "Year of Tolerance", and in cooperation with the departments of penal and correctional institutions in the country, through joint humanitarian cooperation, the Foundation released 30 prisoners from all regions of the country and paid the full sums of money they owed.This initiative comes by the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation in order to give the released released a great opportunity to regain their freedom, start a stable life, and alleviate the suffering of their families.
