About the institution
The vision of the Foundation is “Pioneering Initiatives for Welfare” and its strategies are focused on health and education on domestic, regional and global scales. The educational strategy of the Foundation includes supporting vocational educational projects in countries of the region, health needs related to malnutrition, child protection and care and the provision of safe water on a global level.
Poor and needy communities are also supported by the provision of main infrastructure such as schools and hospitals etc. In order to implement these strategies, the Foundation has entered into partnerships with global organizations affiliated with the United Nations and public welfare organizations.
The various assistance given by the Foundation around the world has reached more than 87 countries since its inception until the present date.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him

His Highness contributed to the development of the UAE Armed Forces, in terms of strategic planning, training, organizational structure, and enhancing the country's defense capabilities, inspired by the directives of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him. His direct and leadership directives contributed to making the UAE Armed Forces a leading institution that is highly regarded by a large number of international military institutions.
His Highness also holds a number of political, legislative, and economic positions in the country. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is known for his great efforts to enhance educational standards in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to reach the best and highest international levels and standards.

The Foundation developed its general strategy to revolve around 3 pillars:
The Foundation adopted vocational and industrial training as a principal strategy in its initiative related to education, in order to deal with the problem of unemployment and with the aim of supporting deprived communities facing challenges of poverty and impoverishment. Educational vocational curricula also enable students to posses the skills and capabilities required for certain scientific fields necessary for business. The Foundation implemented a flexible strategy in this regard so that vocational education curricula are oriented towards the needs of the labor market and its priorities for various professions and vocations, as required in each community.
The strategy of the Foundation includes the following fields related to healthcare: - Care for motherhood and childhood - Healthy nutrition and eradication of malnutrition - Safe water - Supporting scientific research related to deadly diseases.
The strategy of the Foundation includes responding to emergencies and crises for all immigrants, displaced and harmed individuals wherever they are on the globe.
