On the occasion of the "Year of Zayed", and in pursuit of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works to implement its development and relief projects in Iraq, in order to secure the requirements of a decent life for the victims and the needy and provide for their needs, the Foundation focused in its humanitarian and charitable campaign in 2018 on the people of the affected areas by providing their needs. It provides humanitarian support to the affected, poor and most needy families, whether those displaced families who still reside in displacement camps or those families who have returned to their original areas of residence.The Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation focused in its campaign this also on the social groups most in need in such circumstances, especially widows, orphans, and those in need, as the number of families benefiting from the aid reached 21,739 families and 108,956 beneficiaries.
