In continuation of the humanitarian role that the Foundation plays in Palestine, a group of merchants of the Old City in Jerusalem were given material aid to support their steadfastness in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, in the face of the damage caused to them by the Israeli occupation machine.Mr. Ahmed Al-Taniji, Head of the Emirates Representation Office, His Excellency Adnan Al-Husseini, Minister and Governor of Jerusalem, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, Adviser to the Palestinian Presidency’s Office, delivered the financial allocations to the eligible merchants of Jerusalem.This step comes in light of the strength of the Emirati-Palestinian relations and the keenness of the United Arab Emirates to ensure that the humanitarian aid reaches the people who deserve it from the Palestinian people of all sects.His Excellency the Minister and Governor of Jerusalem, Engineer Adnan Al-Husseini, praised the role of the United Arab Emirates in the leadership, government and people in continuous support for the Palestinians, especially the people of Jerusalem, who face the Judaization of their city every day.He added that this donation from the Khalifa Foundation is not only material, but also moral assistance to strengthen the steadfastness of Jerusalem residents in their lands and homes in exchange for forced displacement, harassment, and the continuous Judaization of the holy city.The people of Jerusalem thanked the United Arab Emirates for its continuous assistance to them, and they hope that this country, which is considered an oasis of humanitarian giving, will continue to support and support them to confront the process of Judaization and isolation that the city and its inhabitants are subjected to so that it remains an Arab and Islamic cultural and economic face.
