For the first time, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works has agreed with about 500 Emirati productive families to prepare about two million Iftar meals as part of the "2011 Fasting Breakfast Project" that was implemented by the Foundation for the fifth year in a row.The assignment of productive Emirati families to prepare breakfast meals is the first of its kind at the state level, as it aims to support Emirati families in their work and benefit their members financially and morally, as families compete to provide the best types of Ramadan food and occupy their time for what will benefit them in addition to motivating their members to work in the fields of charitable work And humanitarian, through cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, to employ Emirati families that have proven successful in this project, as each family prepares / 200 / meals a day as a minimum, while Emirati families have offered to prepare / 600 / breakfast meals per day.It has been agreed with the productive families on specific prices for each meal, as it contains three basic materials: rice, chicken and dates. One meal is sufficient for two people at least.
