For the fourth year in a row, the Khalifa Foundation is launching a humanitarian initiative on the local scene to support education through the "In-kind aid project for students for the 2011-2012 academic year" with a daily allowance of five dirhams for each school day, and the number of beneficiaries reached 27,215 students. In more than 650 schools in all the emirates and cities of the country.The Foundation approves the beneficiary cases through specific controls in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the educational districts in the country by distributing a "case study form" to all schools in the country before the start of the school year to evaluate each case separately. People with limited income, children of prisoners, children of divorced women, children of abandoned women ... etc.) as well as the guardian's data, sources of income, monthly obligations, and the number of family members.And before obtaining the school aid, it is ensured that all the required data and papers are completed, provided that the income of the individual citizen in his family does not exceed 1500 dirhams, after deducting the value of the debt, if any, and the rent value from the total salary.As for the resident student, it is stipulated that the per capita income should not exceed 600 dirhams after deducting the value of the debt, if any, and the rent value from the total salary. Thus, the value of the individual's income in the family is calculated by dividing the net income by the number of its members.The Khalifa Foundation considers that this project contributes to creating an appropriate atmosphere for difficult students and consecrates and implants principles of solidarity and solidarity that raise our love for this country and entrench the values of loyalty to it in the hearts of our students and our children, citizens and residents.The number of students benefiting from the project amounted to about 27,215 thousand students in the country distributed according to the following: Abu Dhabi Education Office, the total amounted to 6064 students, Al Ain Education Office 6301 male and female students, Al Gharbia Office 1908 male and female students, Dubai 2070 male and female students, Sharjah 1876 male and female students, District Ajman Educational District 1796 male and female students, Umm Al Quwain Educational District 1283 male and female students, Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone 2608 male and female students, Fujairah Educational District 1526 male and female students and the Sharjah Educational Office in the Eastern Region 1783 male and female students.
