The Khalifa Foundation and the Mayo Clinic Foundation of America have signed an agreement to allocate a high academic degree in the name of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.Through the agreement, the Foundation aims to support professorships in disease control, conducting research and field studies through methods based on scientific means, and publishing these researches in international scientific journals and periodicals.According to the agreement, the Mayo Clinic Foundation will establish a permanent gift fund with the support of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work, and will allocate a professorial degree in disease control in the name of “His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s Professor of Disease Control” in addition to submitting an annual report to the Foundation Khalifa, including details of the research and the identity of the holder of the professorship.
