This project is considered one of the most important humanitarian projects of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work in the local arena, and over three years, 134,000 families have benefited from it at the state level.The Foundation launched the Mir Ramadan project, which 44 thousand and 900 families benefited from, as it is the largest project in the region within the framework of the humanitarian institution’s initiatives on the local scene, as it covered all parts of the country through 24 distribution centers, while for the second time the food rations and parcels prepared for the beneficiaries were delivered to their homes. The Ramadan Meer for the year 2010 consisted of 11 types of food supplies at a rate of 20 thousand tons. The change in some items and the addition of new healthy items came at the request of the beneficiaries. In order to facilitate the beneficiaries of this blessing, as the Foundation provided free delivery service to the homes of the beneficiary families in all locations at State level. The ration or food package for the deserving family covered the needs of the beneficiary for the entire month of Ramadan.
