The Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works provided a set of visual aids to the Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktoum School for the Blind through the Arab Union for the Blind, which is headed by Dr. Khalid bin Ali Al Nuaimi. The grant includes computers, tools and devices for the sports and sensory training departments, occupational therapy, visual rehabilitation, and the recognition and mobility departments.Dr. Al-Nuaimi, who supervised the delivery of tools and devices, said that this aid is the first cooperation between the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work and the Arab Union for the Blind, to support blind students in Jordan to facilitate their studies and life.He valued the cooperation of government agencies, chiefly the efforts of the President of the Supreme Council for Disabled Affairs, His Highness Prince Mired bin Raad, who seeks to overcome the difficulties facing people with disabilities in Jordan.
