The Khalifa Foundation has provided 12 ambulances and more than 50 advanced medical devices to Tunisia to support the health sector there.The foundation explained that the foundation’s support for the health sector in sisterly Tunisia comes within the framework of the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation’s strategy to help brothers and friends in the field of health care and education, and to provide everything that would contribute to achieving advanced health care services, through medical devices.The project to support the health sector in the sisterly Republic of Tunisia is implemented in cooperation with the country's embassy in Tunisia, to provide the Tunisian Ministry of Health with 12 ambulances and to provide urgent and basic needs of advanced medical equipment and devices that deal with motherhood and childhood, such as an echocardiogram, a nursery device for newborns and a heart rate monitor Fetal and gynecological surgery table.Ambulances, equipment and medical equipment will be distributed by the Tunisian Ministry of Health to thirteen clinics and medical centers, covering all governorates and cities in Tunisia, including Kairouan, El Kef, Tozeur, Gabes, Gafsa, Sidi Bouzid, Baja and Bizerte.For his part, the Tunisian ambassador praised the UAE’s humanitarian approach in support of brotherly and friendly countries, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, through the Emirati humanitarian aid that carries developmental and humanitarian dimensions without discrimination based on gender, race or religion.It should be noted that the Khalifa Foundation, as part of its strategy in the field of health, has provided medical devices to many countries, including Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Tunisia, Sudan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Afghanistan, Pakistan and others.Health aids vary, ranging from temperature scales to complex and expensive diagnostic imaging equipment, to meet healthcare needs. Medical devices help relieve patients' pain, by providing surgical tools and anesthesia equipment to perform the surgical procedures.
