The UAE has continued its intensive efforts through the Khalifa Foundation to provide humanitarian and development assistance to Rohingya refugees in Malaysia to support their needs in the education sector.The aid was distributed in four phases, covering 708 students from five Rohingya refugee schools, and the aid included school bags, school uniforms, notebooks, pens and other supplies, in addition to maintaining schools and providing them with school supplies.In addition to this aid, the Foundation delegation visited the state of Phang and visited 10 schools where the Arab teachers on scholarships are studying.HE Thomas Albrigette, representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Malaysia, praised the pioneering role of the UAE in the fields of humanitarian work, development aid and interest in education.
