In January 2019, the Foundation launched a new campaign to provide urgent aid to the relief of displaced Syrians in Lebanon, worth 18.4 million dirhams - the equivalent of $ 5 million.This relief comes under the generous directions of our wise leadership and an extension of the humanitarian role that the UAE plays to help Syrian refugees in all Lebanese governorates and to alleviate the brothers in Lebanon and help them reduce the suffering of the displaced Syrians, especially during the winter and cold season, and to support the poorest displaced Syrian families scattered in all lands. Lebanese.The Foundation was strongly present in the blessed month of Ramadan and provided hot meals for fasting people in the Arsal region and its vicinity, at an average of 2,500 breakfast meals a day throughout the holy month, benefiting 75,000 people. These meals were delivered to the deserving of the displaced Syrians and needy Lebanese families, in partnership with Relief and Humanitarian Aid in Dar Al-Fatwa.The Foundation provided aid to the Islamic Orphan House and the Druze Orphan House, with 250 gifts distributed to children, along with blankets and food rations.In September 2019, the Foundation funded the Emirates Center for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an in Majdal Anjar, which was rehabilitated and equipped with an honor from the Foundation in the presence of the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Sheikh Khalil Al-Mayas, and municipal and religious personalities.
