The Khalifa Foundation and the Department of Economic Development in Dubai signed a cooperation agreement providing for the strengthening of community and humanitarian services between the two parties. The agreement stipulates that Dubai Economy will donate in-kind materials for the benefit of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, which will in turn distribute them to eligible groups within the country. Dubai Economy seeks to consolidate charitable principles and humanitarian work with various specialized bodies, in order to reach the largest segment of beneficiaries at the level of the UAE and the world.In a medical-humanitarian cooperation, the Foundation received a donation in kind of 3.6 tons of various medicines from the "Global Pharma" company, to be used in health care and support for patients who are unable to secure medicines inside and outside the country.The cooperation with national medical institutions comes with the aim of strengthening human and social ties, and devoting solidarity and solidarity between humanitarian work institutions and the private sector, to reduce the suffering of patients and those in need inside and outside the country to benefit from these medicines in the treatment of many diseases.Within the framework of its effective partnerships with national institutions to serve the Emirati community, the Foundation also received a financial donation from the Armed Forces Cooperative Society for the benefit of projects implemented by the Foundation on the local arena.The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development provided support for the educational program for school and university students and the health program through the "Basma Planting" curative initiative, and this comes as an extension of the path of benevolence that the Fund started with the Foundation years ago.In July 2019, the Foundation received a financial donation of 500,000 dirhams from Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank to support the projects and initiatives it implements on the local arena.It also received a donation of Dubai Islamic Bank in the amount of five million dirhams as a contribution from it to the initiatives and projects implemented by the corporation within the country in order to enhance integration between the humanitarian sectors and national banks and spread the culture of social solidarity among all segments of society.The Foundation honored the Sharjah Municipality in recognition of its provision of everything that would facilitate the initiatives and projects that the Foundation implements in the Emirate of Sharjah.
