In implementation of the directives of His Highness, the President of the State, may God preserve him, and His Highness, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Foundation launched the humanitarian aid project for Rohingya refugees in Malaysia, in the presence of a delegation from the Foundation and a representative of Malaysian non-governmental organizations.Four thousand Rohingya refugee families in the Jiraz region benefited from the first phase of the humanitarian aid provided by the Foundation, which included foodstuffs and basic needs. Other aid was distributed in stages in the areas where the refugees reside. This aid comes within the framework of the charitable and humanitarian work carried out by the Foundation in Malaysia and other countries throughout the year.On the other hand, the Foundation achieved first place in the public speaking competition that was held within the activities of the Third International Festival of the Arabic Language in Malaysia.The foundation won the first place among Malaysian students who are learning the Arabic language at the hands of professors who have been sent by the UAE to teach the Arabic language, and they are supervised by the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation and the country's embassy in Kuala Lumpur.The Malaysian students sponsored by the Foundation also won the second and third place in the poetry competition that was also held within the activities of the festival organized by the Academy of Islamic Studies at the University of Malaya during the month of May 2016.Malaysian officials praised the efforts of the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation in humanitarian work and its role in spreading the Arabic language in Malaysia and in the state of Pahang in particular.
