The Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works - on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha - has undertaken the expenses of deporting 305 prisoners, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him" and the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work.The deportation of prisoners comes after they have served their sentences in correctional and penal institutions in the country in various cases, and a court decision was issued against them to deport them outside the country and are unable to secure travel tickets to return to their countries of origin and of different nationalities.The humanitarian project was implemented in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior through correctional and penal institutions in the country.An official source at the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works said that the Foundation seeks, through this permanent project, to strengthen its programs and projects on the local scene, support the needy and poor prisoners who are unable to purchase tickets to return to their countries, help secure care and support for this group, and give them the opportunity to return to Their homelands to be reunited with their families.He explained that the project comes as a commitment from the Foundation to its humanitarian role and to achieve the mission and goals for which it was established by providing any possible assistance to the needy, whether inside or outside the country.For their part, the beneficiaries of this humanitarian gesture expressed their sincere thanks for this generous initiative implemented by the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work.
