Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and President of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Foundation launched the initiative of "healthy breakfast meals for students" in school canteens, for about 45 schools in the emirates of Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah, in cooperation And coordination with the Ministry of Education. The 45 schools represent a first stage of the initiative, which is scheduled to include all the previously mentioned schools in the Emirates, and 80 Emirati families have been contracted to implement the initiative, to provide the canteens with healthy meals and supervise the sale and distribution of meals to students.Basic commodities were supported by canteens, in cooperation with Al Ain Farms and the Emirates Cooperative Society for the supply of juices, milk, milk, thyme sandwiches and cheese at a price of one dirham in school canteens, indicating that the normal price for them in the market is more than that.The Foundation confirmed that the project comes as a continuation of the project to support students and take care of national families and support them to advance them economically and socially.
