The project aims to support Emirati families and benefit financially and morally, as families compete to provide the finest types of food, in addition to motivating their members to work in the fields of charitable and humanitarian work.The Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation announced that, for the second year in a row, it had agreed with about 600 citizen families to supply about one million and 700 thousand breakfast meals within the fasting breakfast project that the Foundation is implementing for the sixth consecutive year.During the past Ramadan, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works identified 109 sites throughout the country, through which breakfast meals for fasting people would be distributed.In Abu Dhabi, 21 sites were identified distributed in the emirate and its suburbs, where cooperation was made with 120 national families to prepare 12,200 Ramadan meals. In the Western Region, the project provides 11 centers spread in the region, and the project was implemented in cooperation with 51 citizen families.In the city of Al Ain, the project was implemented in 12 sites in cooperation with 57 citizen families. In Dubai, 10 sites are spread throughout the emirate near densely populated areas, and cooperation was made with 83 Emirati families.In Sharjah, there are 10 sites, and cooperation has been made with 58 citizen families. In Ras Al Khaimah, 11 sites have been designated in cooperation with 56 national families. In Ajman, the fasting breakfast project was implemented through 11 sites in cooperation with 47 national families. In Umm Al Quwain, the project was implemented in three sites in cooperation with 23 Emirati families, and in Fujairah 11 sites were allocated covering all parts of the emirate, and the project was carried out in cooperation with 65 Emirati families.With the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works began distributing Ramadan meals. During the holy month, the Foundation announced that it had provided 1,700,000 Iftar meals that were distributed across 109 sites distributed across the Emirates.
