Based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, the Foundation announced during the last month of Ramadan a project to support "selling rice and flour to citizens" as part of its various initiatives on the local arena.The project has been met with an increasing turnout by national families to benefit from the humanitarian initiative adopted by the Foundation through the current support policy, which achieves many advantages, including the provision of basic goods and services at reasonable prices for low-income citizens.According to the latest statistics that were available from the sales centers in the country, 250 thousand bags of rice with a capacity of 40 kg and 7 thousand bags of flour with a capacity of 10 kg were sold.This support is of great importance in the humanitarian programs of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Work because it has a direct impact on the welfare of the beneficiary and society in general by preserving the real income of the individual through price stability away from global price fluctuations.This project strengthens the values ​​of human solidarity, and emphasizes the mission of the institution in its endeavor to alleviate the burden of living conditions and secure the needs of various groups of society, as an expression of the values ​​of solidarity and community cohesion that the wise leadership is keen to establish in a way that enhances the living stability and social well-being of citizens.
