Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute for Vocational Education in Lebanon
In March 2010, the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works adopted the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute for Vocational Education in the southern city of Saida, as it is a real translation on the ground, as a practical start of the foundation's strategy in its humanitarian initiatives in vocational education. The institute includes about 300 students in six majors: electrical installations, auto mechanics and electricity, in addition to air conditioning, refrigeration, maintenance and restoration, as well as accounting, informatics, a literacy program and vocational guidance. In addition, the institute has three types of supplementary professional certificates that require two academic years, the technical baccalaureate that requires three years, as well as special courses of one year. The Khalifa Foundation announced the implementation of similar professional projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the coming period. The institute is at the forefront of educational institutions in the region due to the level it offers in vocational education, due to its primary and direct attraction to students who are unable to complete their studies and subject them to educational qualification programs that raise their competence, professional experience and professional guidance through official government certificates that restore the hope they lost while depriving them of Academic achievement.
