The Khalifa Foundation sent 500 tons of various foodstuffs quickly to Somalia from the Republic of Yemen during the last blessed month of Ramadan. This move came as a shortening of time and effort so that aid could reach Somalia quickly.This urgent relief assistance to Somalia comes in fulfillment of the mission of the Sheikh Khalifa Foundation to provide relief to the people suffering from the burden of circumstances and to provide their food needs, in order to alleviate the food crisis of their population and reduce their human suffering.It is noteworthy that the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Works implemented at the beginning of the month of Ramadan a fasting breakfast project in Kharaz camp for Somali refugees in Yemen, through the High Commissioner for Refugees, in addition to a fasting breakfast project in the Republic of Yemen.
